Mike McElroy RIP

It is with profound sadness that I have to report that Mike McElroy passed away on May 8th after his cancer took a major turn for the worst.  I was surprised and grateful when, despite being ill, Michael agreed to be our treasurer at the January AGM.  It is with great regret that he was taken away so soon.

CT Herts AGM

Lively AGM and discussion!

The AGM went swiftly and efficiently – thanks Mike.  There will be a fuller report later.  We now have a good list of exciting potential events and activities.

We now have a treasurer, Mike McElroy and a convenor, Peter Berners-Lee (me).  Please pray for us, and that people will get involved in making the right new things happen!

On Wednesday 24th January we held the funeral of Fr Tom Hewitt, much loved priest of Ss Alban & Stephen church, friend to many and supporter of Churches Together.  The service was attended by hundreds of people including friends and ministers from many different churches.
