Local Government Proposals

It seems that they are planning to merge St Albas council with other councils.  Final proposals to the government are due on November 28^th. Old councils will be abolished on 1^st April 2028( this is not a joke).  The proposed options can be found at https://www.hertfordshire-lgr.co.uk/proposed-options

I understand that this may have serious implications for the center of St Albans, since it does not have a parish, from a local government point of view.
