This year it has been decided to move the Alban Pilgrimage back to Sunday 27 June. The advantage of this is that is comes after what we hope to be the final stage of coming out of COVID restrictions. We will also be reverting back to the original historical route, beginning at St Michael’s Church, processing through Verulamium Park before reaching St Albans Cathedral.
All are welcome to join us for festivities throughout the day, from activities on the Abbey Orchard to our celebratory services.
We will be encouraging visiting groups to register from the beginning of June, when we will issue more details about the children’s programme. It would really be wonderful to be able to welcome visiting groups from the Diocese, other denominations, and further afield especially for the afternoon programme.
