Since February 2014 Rosemary Fletcher organised a Quiet Day on the Saturday before Lent, a chance for us to pause and reflect. This year this it is being held on Saturday 26th February 2022.
Last year, of course, we were not able to hold one, so this is the first one since 2020, so we have again arranged one for the peoples of the St Albans and Welwyn Circuit, and their friends, so please do share this with your Churches and Ecumenical partners. The attached flyer gives you all the information you need. Please do let Chris Hancock in the Circuit Office know on admin@midhertsmethodists.org.uk if you are able to attend.
About the day
As we approach Lent, we take this opportunity to ‘step aside’ and listen to God as we reflect upon some of the Psalms. There will be extended periods of silence, and the opportunity (if the weather is kind) to spend time outside. The Kitchen is available to us throughout the day – for drinks to be made as and when we wish!
