DESCRIPTION:Cancelled  \n \nThis event is cancelled for 2020 so as to reduce the risk of catching or spreading the virus. \nLook out for online activities. \nOur annual cross procession starts at SS Alban and Stephen’s church in Beaconsfield Road.   At 7.15.  The crowd gathers to witness to their faith by walking behind a large\, wooden cross.  This is carried through the town to the Cathedral Abbey where it will become the centrepiece of the Unity at the Cross service.   Others will arrive  at the Abbey where they will await the arrival of the Walk of Witness.  Whether you join the Walk or come straight to the Abbey you are warmly invited to join us. \nPlease download print and display the poster: \nCarry the Cross A4 Poster
